R. M. Young Marine Wind Monitor Model 05106

R. M. Young Marine Wind Monitor

Model 05106

The Wind Monitor MA is an accurate and reliable wind sensor specifically

designed for the rigors of the marine environment.

The wind speed sensor is a four blade helicoid propeller. Unique transducer produces a

pulse signal without electrical contacts or slip rings. The wind direction sensor is a durable

molded vane. Vane angle is sensed by a precision potentiometer housed in a sealed

chamber. All materials are carefully selected for corrosion resistance and maximum

in the harsh marine environment. Stainless steel bearings are used throughout.

Special waterproof lubricant further enhances reliability. The instrument mounts on

standard

1 inch pipe. Separate signal conditioning circuits are available to provide voltage or current

signals when needed (see below). Each is supplied in a weatherproof junction box with

mounting hardware.

AEP SG4

aep SG4

Junction box is used to make weighing, dosing and plants controlling easier, whenever connecting load cells in parallel is necessary, in order to have a single output signal which represents the sum of the signals of connected load cells.

Also available ATEX version

Product Description
To connect load cells in parallel, five terminal boards with screw-type clamping have been arranged and they are used to perform electrical connections of both input and output cables. The case made of die-cast pressurized aluminium and the fairleads supplied with, ensure a IP65 protection class (EN60529) against dust and water jets.SG4 enables to perform connections in parallel of 4 load cells with 4 or 6 wires systems.

AEP TDA

AEP TDA

The digital transmitter TDA is an instrument designed for the processing of signals from strain gauges in full bridge configuration with 4 or 6 wires and is able to interface with most of the main common field buses such as Modbus RTU, CANopen, DeviceNet and Profibus. For the fieldbus CANopen, Devicenet and Profibus the electronic is galvanically isolated.
Besides the selected fieldbus, it has a RS232 serial interface with a communication program already SUPPLIED (WinTDA), allows a fast tool to control the effectiveness of the performance of the transmitter and allows to implement the calibration procedures.

Outputi:
 RS232C - RS485 ModBus - CanOpen - DeviceNet - ProfiBus

Product Description

TDA uses a 24bit converter capable of driving the load cell in a ratiometric way, with a frequency and variable-speed conversion. The compact dimensions make TDA a versatile instrument, suitable for many applications such as industrial weighing, dosing systems, torque measurements etc. Thanks to its characteristics and versatility, simplifies cabling systems and avoids errors due to conversion of analog modules installed on the control station. The noise immunity of the transmission is ensured by the communication standard adopted.
The transmitter has a resolution of ±200.000 divisions, an accuracy of ±0.01% and a conversion speed selectable from 5Hz to 500Hz, so adapting to a variety of application. The operator can perform the calibration by setting the full scale and sensitivity of the used cell or by using a sample weight of known value.
TDA internally manages the transformation in the main unit of measure related.

AEP TA5F

aep TA5F

The transmitter makes simple and cheap the remote transmission of the value sampled from strain gauges load cells, torque transducers, etc.. to PLC, PC, recorders, etc…
The possibility of internally performing the parallel of the load cells simplifies the system wiring because it does not require the use of any junction box. TA5F is available in two versions: with an hermetic case made of die-cast aluminium (IP65 protection class) or in a plastic case for the mounting on a DIN bar (suitable for control panels).
The transmitter has a maxim resolution of ±200.000 divisions, it is ideal for directly connecting the point/site of the measurement to a remote control station, the high conversion speed (up to 300Hz) makes it suitable also for application in real-time.
The transmitter is internally controlled by a microcontroller in Flash technology which first processes the data coming from the ratiometric AD converter and then manages the serial communication.
The transmitter can work as Slave (it transmits the value only on request) or as Master (it transmits the value continuously).
Outputi: RS232C and RS485 Modbus

Product Description

Through the serial output it is possible to set the TA5F parameters such as: the Full Scale, the measurement resolution, the filter, the system tare suppression, the input sensibility from 1mV to 3mV, etc..
The serial output is optoinsulated, it can be RS232 or RS485 multipoint (it connects in a net up to 32 units at a distance of 1200m); the choice of the system communication happens through dip-switch.
Thank to the Flash technology are possible software up-grade or software releases also after the acquisition.
On request the transmitter can have the following features :
Case for a 35mm DIN bar.
Modbus RTU protocol.
